Tis the Season for Pumpkin

Do you love pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and/or pumpkin cheesecake?  Are you craving Dairy Queen's seasonal Pumpkin Pie Blizzard?  If you are like us, than you are bummed that this wonderful flavor seems to be seasonal and only gets including in recipes that are loaded with fat and calories.  Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin is an excellent source of Vitamin A, fiber and is low in calories and fat.  In fact, 1/2 cup serving only has 40 calories (9 g carbs, 2 g protein, 0.5 g fat.  We recommend that if you are craving this flavor to add a couple tablespoons to your morning oatmeal and egg whites or mixing with vanilla protein powder to make a pudding.  You may need to add a bit of splenda for sweetness, cinnamon and or pumpkin pie spice mix to get the flavor you are missing.  Give it a try and enjoy NO GUILT!!!!
